Muhammad Lila spent years as a war correspondent for CNN and ABC News — reporting from Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Ukraine, and Gaza. He watched the world consume an endless diet of fear and outrage, and saw firsthand what it did to people. He asked a different question: what if AI could be trained not just to understand language — but to understand how that language makes you feel? That question became Goodable, and the answer became IRIS.
